The Childhood Immunization Registry Partnership (ChIRP) is a project funded through an Immunization Collaboration Grant through the California Department of Health Services, Immunization Branch.

The Childhood Immunization Registry Partnership is linking urban and rural immunization providers in Fresno, Madera, and Kings County to the Central Valley Immunization Information System (CVIIS), which is comprised of Fresno, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mono and Tulare Counties.

This internet-based system maintains confidential computerized records of the immunizations that a child receives and provides parents and health care providers throughout the Central Valley region with information and data to ensure that children are adequately protected against vaccine preventable diseases.
