Goals

The goals of the California Poison Control System include:

Increase public use the 24-hour toll-free telephone advice service and decrease unnecessary emergency room visits and calls to 911.

bullet

Identify and develop targeted outreach initiatives for California’s underserved populations, including Latino and African-American parents.
