NCM Awards
The Health Consortium will be recognized on
the NCM Honor Roll for the commitment of
SJVHC CEO, Mary Wallace in supporting
their mission in the Central Valley.
In
support of the importance of ethnic
media, anyone interested in the awards
ceremony can
sponsor a table or purchase tickets.
In
recognition of journalistic excellence
in ethnic media since 1998, the NCM
Awards showcases stories making the news
in California. More importantly, the
organization highlights the people and
media outlets that report them. The
event will take place on Thursday,
January 26, 2006 at the Fairmont Hotel
in San Jose, California.

Also,
NCM has a new name change taking place,
New America Media. "NCM has built broad
support in California over the past 10
years. The need to replicate this model
nationally has driven our decision to
change our name and begin a national
ethnic media awards program."
